The Eh Oui for Bendheim decorative glass collection introduces French woven metal textiles to architectural and design markets.

Created for the North American luxury retail and hospitality markets, the collection comprises five woven designs; Galina in brass, Tempo in stainless steel and rose gold tone, Mosaica in interwoven brass and stainless steel, and Anida in gold tone.

Rich in texture, the finely woven metals reflect light to produce rhythmic, shimmering effects. The subtle hand-made appearance is achieved through the deliberate introduction of small irregularities into the weaves. The fabrics are encased in safety-laminated, ultra-clear glass, to preserve them from the elements while lending brilliance and structure.

“Eh Oui applies traditional weaving techniques to unexpected materials, such as steel and brass,” said Steven Jayson, Vice President of Bendheim. “By combining these metal textiles with glass or mirrors, Bendheim expands the range of aesthetic options and allows them to be used as a safety building material.”

FREAKS has been commissioned to work on the transformation of a 170sqm flat downtown Paris, Rue de Rivoli. The Rue de Rivoli, which goes from Place de la Concorde until Place de la Bastille, has been built under Napoleon the 1st. The very first part of the street, facing the Jardin des Tuileries was his own property and he might have lived here or there in one of those chic flats.

The order was to transform that high ceiling stateroom into a familial flat, including two new children bedrooms in addition with the parents one. Therefore, the main target was to create new connections through the rooms ; some doors have been closed, some others have been pierced to avoid the typical dead-end distribution...

Ingo Maurer is a creative German designer who makes very unusual lamps suitable not only for cafes, bars, restaurants and other public places but also for dining zones and kitchens. Italian theme is reflected in these two cool lights: Campari-soda lamp and delicious pasta lamp. 10 Campari-soda bottles with glass ice cubes on the top, and the bottle top which allows to switch on or off the light. Campbell’s soup can as a lamp is rather unusual and it’s kind of pop-art in lighting! The third lamp is with amazing pasta, the collection is limited edition and every piece is unlike the others, so hurry up!
